The Invisible Things to Man’s Eyes

The rapid outbreak and spread of the novel coronavirus has left the world reeling. Many regions are implementing lockdown measures in an attempt to control the pandemic. People everywhere long for the day this plague will end and their lives can return to normal.

The Virus Not Visible to Man’s Eyes

Why is this invisible virus so difficult to stop? One reason is its incredibly small size. It’s invisible to the naked eye, requiring powerful microscopes for detection. How can we defeat an enemy we can’t even see?

Other Things Not Visible to Man’s Eyes

While many things remain unseen, they are nonetheless real. Just like the air we breathe, though invisible, it sustains our very lives. Similarly, we can’t see radio waves, yet our radios pick them up; we can’t see ultraviolet rays, yet prolonged exposure to the sun warms our skin. And there’s one more crucial reality: we cannot see God, yet His existence is undeniable. God also has an enemy, unseen by human eyes, who seeks to spread chaos and suffering: Satan.

The Enemy Satan Not Visible to Man’s Eyes

It’s vital to understand that beyond the physical world exists a spiritual realm, invisible to our eyes.

Satan, God’s adversary, desires to harm us. In John 10:10, Jesus describes him as a thief who “came to steal, to kill, and to destroy.” Thankfully, through His death on the cross, Jesus destroyed the devil (Hebrews 2:14, 1 John 3:8).

A Life-giving Spirit Not Visible to Man’s Eyes

Dear friend, God has the best plan for your life. He loves you so much that He died on the cross to redeem you. He shed His precious blood to forgive and cleanse your sins. He was buried, rose again on the third day, and became the life-giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45). Now, He can enter into you, regenerate you and give you eternal life. Right now, you can pray to Him: “Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for me. Thank you for becoming the life-giving Spirit so you can enter into me. Lord, I confess I am a sinner. Please forgive my sins. I receive you now as my Savior and life. In your precious name, Amen.”
