GOSPEL TRACTS

Mask of Love

Due to the pandemic situation of the Coronavirus, governments began to instruct people to wear masks when they go out in public places.

The reason is for more protecting others from getting the virus from the wearers than protecting the wearers themselves.

When everyone wears mask, everyone is also protected.

Think about for a moment: putting on a mask means hiding our own beauty or facial expression for the sake of others.

People are willing to do it for a short period of time;

but what if you are asked to wear a mask all the time in your life for the benefit of others?

I doubt anyone will be willing to do it.

Have you ever thought that Christ did it?

He was God, the Creator who created all the beautiful creatures in the universe.

In order to save mankind, He became a lowly man, hiding all His glory and beauty.

Isaiah 53 says:

“Like a root out of dry ground.

He has no attracting form nor majesty that we should look upon Him, nor beautiful appearances that we should desire Him.”

More than hiding His beauty,

“He was despised and forsaken of men.

A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief” for you and me.

“Surely He has borne our sickness, And carried our sorrows

He was wounded because of our transgressions;

He was crushed for our iniquities;

The chastening for our peace was upon Him,

and by His stripes we have been healed.”

Dear listener, out of love God became a man, Jesus Christ.

He died for you so your sins can be forgiven.

He resurrected and became a life-giving Spirit.

Now He is ready to give His divine life and eternal love and peace to you.

You can receive Him by praying:

“Lord Jesus! I receive you into my heart.

Be my personal savior!

Give me your eternal, divine life to me!

I need your, be with me forever! Amen!”
