How to Explain the Mystery of the Bible?

From the earliest book “Job” (written approximately 1500 B.C.) to the last book “Revelation” (written approximately 90-94 A.D.), the Bible was composed over a period of 1600 years, by more than 40 authors. These writers were of different backgrounds, social statuses, education levels, and lived during different periods of time. Most of them did not know each other. But without any physical communication, they together composed one book, which is consistent in speaking out the same Person. He is named “Jehovah” in the Old Testament and is called “Jesus”, meaning Jehovah our Savior, in the New Testament.

The content of the Bible was written by God moving in men. Although it was the work of these 40 writers, we must appreciate the fact that it was not the accomplishment of man. The intention of the Bible is not to meet man’s need, to seek man’s approval, or to feed man’s interest. The Bible includes histories, but it is not just about history; it includes teachings of morality, but it is not just about morality; the Bible also includes literature, but it is not just literature. The Bible is a book which presents the Truth. “

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32) The Bible is a book which reveals to us that God is Life, and is also a book which gives us Life. In the Bible, Jesus speaks to us these words, “I have come that they may have life and may have it abundantly.” (John 10:10b).

When you read the Bible, you will discover that it is a wonderful book. It is a book that thoroughly reveals God – showing us who God is; written by the man who He created. The Bible tells us, “The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” (Proverbs 9:10) Anyone who is willing to humble himself to know God will discover that the author of this book is the real authority, who has the answer to all the questions of men. God not only created man; He also knows everything about man. The Lord Jesus Himself, who has the highest authority and qualification for answering our questions, even experienced our life directly. Every man can find the answer to the matters which perplex him in this Book of all books. When we meet God Himself, we will be amazed by the fact that He is the Answer to all of our questions
