A Life of Blessing and Happiness

A Life of Blessing and Happiness is not about “Blessing” or “Happiness”, but about the “Life”. Life is our main topic. What is the Life? Life refers to human existence.

When he was born, the existence launches. At the first few years, all he knew is to eat and drink, really nothing else, merely to play and have fun. When grown gradually, the taste of pleasure increases, but the color of joy fades. Because starting from day care school, all the requirement from teachers, expectation from parents, as well as pressure from classes come to him like wave after wave. During elementary school and middle school, he suffers to get best scores, in order to be qualified for best high school. After high school, college is next. Even after becoming college student, he still has to suffer four more years.

Some young people might hear the Gospel, believe into Jesus, and was saved before the graduation of college. From now on, a priceless blessing really begins.

Before receiving the Lord, we inwardly are empty; after we receive Lord Jesus, our inner beings are filled. This is the meaning of human existence. God lives in us, which is our real Blessing, our real Happiness.

When young people just starts his life, he might not feel vain. By the day of graduation, obtaining material possessions, attaining certain social status, he really realizes all things are just vanity, as in the Bible, “Vanity of vanities”, “Nothing new under the sun”. Nowadays, young generation might not reach the high position, but at least has a bachelor degree; at this stage of life, you will desire something. Please remember, what you desire most, is not fame and money, but Lord Himself. You could not be a man of Blessing and Happiness unless you allow Him entering into you. That renders you a Life of Blessing and Happiness.

Therefore, the Life of Blessing and Happiness is the Life of Christ, which is Christ becoming our Life. You may pray this way:

Oh, Lord Jesus, thank you for letting me know you, transforming my life of pressure and suffering into Life of Blessing and Happiness. Lord Jesus, open my eyes to see neither the money nor the fame grants me real Blessing and Happiness. Only receiving You, my Life can be Blessing and Happiness. Oh, Lord Jesus, I do not want any more suffering; I want to open to You, I want to receive You, I want the real Blessing and real Happiness!
