The Kernel of the Bible
I. The kernel of Genesis—Christ typified by the seed of woman and the church typified by Eve.
Gen. 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed; He will bruise you on the head…
Gen. 2:22 And Jehovah God built the rib, which He had taken from the man, into a woman…
II. The kernel of Exodus—Christ typified by the Passover lamb and the church typified by tabernacle.
Exo. 12:3 …each man shall take a lamb according to his fathers’ house, a lamb for a household.
Exo. 40:2 On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
III. The kernel of the books from Leviticus to 1 Kings—Christ typified by the good land and the church typified by the holy temple.
Deut. 8:7 For Jehovah your God is bringing you to a good land, a land of waterbrooks, of springs and of fountains…
1 Kings 8:11 … for the glory of Jehovah filled the house of Jehovah.
IV. The kernel of Psalms—Christ as the Shepherd and the church as God’s temple.
Psa. 23:1 Jehovah is my Shepherd; I will lack nothing.
Psa. 23:6 And I will dwell in the house of Jehovah For the length of my days.
V. The kernel of Song of Songs—Christ typified by Solomon and the church typified by Shulammite.
S.S. 3:11 …And look at King Solomon with the crown With which his mother crowned him On the day of his espousals, Yes, on the day of the gladness of his heart.
S.S. 6:13 Return, return, O Shulammite; Return, return, that we may gaze at you.
VI. The kernel of the books from Isaiah to Malachi—the coming Christ and the temple (church) prophesied in millennium.
Isa. 9:6 For a child is born to us, A son is given to us; And the government Is upon His shoulder…
Hag. 2:9 The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says Jehovah of hosts.
VII. The kernel of the four gospels—the fleshed Christ and the church which God will build up.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us… full of grace and reality.

VIII. The kernel of Acts—the resurrected Christ and the church in the beginning.
